Christine Farrell

Born and raised in Indiana, Christine Farrell graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and criminal justice in 1997.  She then went on to earn a J.D. from DePaul University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois with a Dean’s Scholarship in 2000.  Christine began working at Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic in Chicago as a law student intern and worked after graduation as an attorney in the office and later as the Legal Director of the Legal Aid Clinic.  Christine was awarded as Chicago Bar Foundation’s Exceptional Young Lawyer in 2002.

 In 2007, Christine and her family moved to Wilmington and she became licensed to practice law in North Carolina.  While in Wilmington, Christine first practiced in the areas of family law, criminal defense, juvenile and DSS matters.  She now focuses primarily on family law and DSS matters at the firm of Mulligan Epstein, PLLC.   Christine has been trained in Collaborative Law, which uses an alternative approach to the traditional adversarial and litigation based route of divorce.  Christine is a member of the Coastal Collaborative Colleagues.
